Their policies are deceptive such that they literally steal money from people for things they didn't sign up for, or that they did sign up for and then cannot cancel because Dropbox doesn't provide an easy way to reach them and may not respond. You cannot reach them by phone, a physical business offices or storefront.

This makes any standard law enforcement options that you would have very difficult to use against them in situations where you might need it. You can see from other reviews all the deception and bad customer service that supports this deception. The only thing worse is how the smart phone suppliers lock this app down on your phone, won't allow you to remove it, and, another complaint of many is that you may find it constantly enabling itself on your phone after you've disabled it.

I did and wasn't doing anything to activate it or use it that would cause it to activate! It's a malicious app as far as I am concerned and was designed with users best intentions in mind!

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Not taking ownership or responsibility, Developing something with bad intentions against the public, Being unable to disable and constantly have it reactivate itself, Bad customer support that enables deception.
